Laura, you are super successful on Instagram. You’re sharing your carnivore lifestyle. How did you get into it and since when does your Otto Grill accompany you?
Laura Spath:
I have been on a Carnivore Diet since 2018. I was trying to lose weight and get healthier by cutting out all carbs and sugar. I found success and health by eating an all meat diet. The only problem is I didn't even know how to cook a steak then. I first received my Otto Grill in 2019 and I cook on it almost every single day.
Otto Wilde:
I love to use the reverse sear method and slow cook a piece of meat and sear it at the end on the Otto. It adds the perfect char that makes for the best piece of meat. How do you prepare youor "go-to steak"?
Laura Spath:
I use adobo and smoked paprika for seasoning. I like to cook on the Otto Grill at the middle height, flipping often until it is almost the right temperature. I move the tray to the top for a final char right at the end.

What is your favorite accessory and what do you use it for?
Laura Spath:
I love the storage box most. It keeps out dust and rain and I can use it to take my Otto to the park for BBQs.

I love the flavor of the meat the Otto Grill makes, there is nothing else that can make such a delicious steak. The size is perfect for a smaller space and is easy to travel with. And I can make so many meals very quickly on the Otto Grill and it is helpful with a busy family.

Laura Spath:
Yes absolutely. I have used mine for many years now and am very happy with it. If you appreciate quality cooked meats then Otto is the best!

You have the Otto Grill Pro and the Otto Grill Lite. Which one do you like most and why? What are the advantages of the grills?
Laura Spath:
I actually like the shelf style of the Lite best and tend to use it most often. I love that it is the same size as the Pro. The Pro has the 2 different adjustable knobs which is very helpful when cooking 2 different pieces of meat and I want them done at the same time.

How does a typically “What I eat in a day” on your Otto Grill looks like?
Laura Spath:
I have made beef bacon many times on the Otto Grill and it comes out perfectly. Burgers and hot dogs are something we make for family lunches. Dinner is often a steak and some shrimp or fish always cooked on the Otto Grill.

Laura Spath:
The Otto Grill is a perfect way to elevate your grilling expertise to get fancy steakhouse steaks at home. It is very impressive to your friends. If you are an experienced griller this is the missing grill to complete your collection. It is not hard to learn to use the Otto Grill so even if you are a beginner you can master it quickly.
My tip: Don't put the meat right up under the flames right away. Keep it down lower at first so you get a more even cook. Also don't preheat the grill with the metal grate in the grill. It will start to cook your meat from underneath without adding any char
