Enjoy potatoes differently for once! We experimented with the use of different exciting seasonings and created this wonderful recipe. It gives our potatoes a blissful wintery flavor.
Without peeling them, add the potatoes into cold, salted water. Boil them until done. Add cinnamon, cardamom, allspice, star anise, pepper, salt and paprika into a mortar and with the use of a pestle, grind the ingredients finely.
Siffer the ground spices..
Melt the butter in a small pot. Add the seasonings to the melted butter. Warm up on low heat, so that the flavors can develop better.
As soon as the potatoes are done, drain the water, let potatoes cool out and break them into walnut-sized pieces.
Mix the potatoes with the seasoning butter. Stir them until the potatoes have absorbed the butter well.
Set The Otto Grill to low heat.
Add potatoes onto a grease drip tray.
On low heat and Meat-O-Meter setting #3, roast the potatoes from all sides for approx. 3 minutes while constantly turning them.
