Pork chop with apple and pear chutney

Grilling a pork cutlet on the Otto Grill doesn’t seem like an experiment. As a classic it doesn’t need to any variation which can be done by side dishes or condiments. Like an apple and pear chutney which you can easily cook by yourself. With sweet and fruity flavors, it is a welcome addition to the hearty cutlet.

  1. Quarter and remove the cores of the apples and pears and cut into small cubes. Cook the apples and pears in a pot or pan with the vegetable oil. After 2-3 minutes add the sugar, apple vinegar, marmalade, and water and cook until most of the liquid is cooked off.

  1. Grill the meat

Preheat the Otto Grill on medium heat. Season the pork chop with salt and pepper and grill it from both sides in the Otto Grill. The thicker the pork chop the lower you will need to set the grill grate.

  1. Serve and enjoy

Let the pork rest for 2-3 minutes and serve atop the apple and pear chutney.
