3 hot dog buns

3 hot dog Sausage

mustard

ketchup

pickle slices

 

Mushroom hot dog

5 mushrooms

1 onion

 

Classic

2 tbsp Sauerkraut

1 tbsp fried onions

 

Chili hot dog

2 EL Chili con Carne

1 hand full of chips

Three types of hot dogs - and everyone is delicious. We took a creative approach to the hot dog and made different variations of the classic. Tell us how do you top your favorite creation?

PREPARATION

  1. For the mushroom hot dog: Slice onions and mushrooms into thin rings. In a saucepan, slowly sweat the onions on medium heat until they are turning brown and beginning to caramelize. Afterwards lightly sauté the mushrooms.

 

 GRILLING

  1. Grill the meat

    You grill the sausages for every hot dog the same way. Turn the Otto Gill on medium flame and set the Meat-O-Meter on level 3. Grill the sausage to your liking

 

SERVING

  1. For the mushroom hot dog

    Fill the bun with the hot dog, pickles, ketchup, mustard and the prepared onions and mushrooms.

  2. For the classic hot dog

    Fill the hot dog bun with the hot dog, pickles, ketchup, mustard and sauerkraut. Finally, add some crispy roasted onions on top.

  3. For the chili hot dog

    Fill the hot dog bun with the hot dog, pickles, ketchup, mustard and chili con carne. As a crispy topping sprinkle some chips on top of everything.
