BEEF

Molten Cheese makes everything better, even steak! How? Three words: Cheese Steak Fries. Each component on its own is tasty enough. Imagine how good the combination of the three things could taste. Cross fries, seared steak and rich cheese sauce. This may not be something for steak purists but is incrediblly delicious.

LET’S GO

PREPARATION

  1. To make the cheese sauce: melt butter in a pot, stir in the flour with a whisk and cook off the flour. Add in the milk and bring to a boil while mixing continually to avoid clumps. Add the cheese and keep stirring and cooking until the cheese has completely melted leaving a smooth consistency, depending on the cheese you might need to thin the sauce with milk or thicken it with starch or roux.

 GRILLING

  1. Fry the fries in a pot with frying oil and keep warm in the oven on low temperature while you finish the steaks.

  2. Preheat The Otto Grill on high flame for 3 minutes. Lightly sprinkle the steak with salt. Then grill each side on Meat-O-Meter level 1 for 2-3 minutes, turn the Meat-O-Meter down to level 5 and cook steak on low flame for 2 more minutes each side.

SERVING

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing in thin strips.

  2. Assemble the fries and steak in a bowl and pour the cheese sauce over, garnish with parsley.
