2.6 lbs apples

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup flour

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 tbsp dark rum

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 lemon

Apple Crumble



Warm apples, wintery spices and a thick crust on top: these are the components of a comfy dessert. With the Otto Grill you can get this delicious dessert within minutes ready and let it warm you from the inside.





  1. Peel and remove the core from the apples and cut into dice sizes cubes. Combine the apple with rum, brown sugar, the juice of the lemon and cinnamon in a bowl.

  2. Combine room temperature butter with flour, sugar and rolled oats to form a crumbly dough.

  3. Spread the apple mix out on a Drip Tray.



  1. Insert and place it instead of the grill grate in the Otto Grill. Roast in The Otto Grill on low flame until the apple starts to develop a brown color.

  2. Fill oven proof ramekins with the apple mix and cover with a half an inch thick layer of the crumble.

  3. Remove any Drip Tray or grill grate from the Otto Grill and sit the ramekins in the base of The Otto Grill. Roast at low flame until the crumble turns into a dark golden brown.



  1. Turn the flame off and leave the forms rest in the warm Otto Grill for 5 minutes.
