“ At Otto Wilde, we think that the perfect grilling experience requires a few key components: the right temperature, first-class meat, and a grill that brings joy to the person operating it. Product design has always been important to us, and that’s why The Otto Grill combines uncompromising functionality with aesthetic industrial design. ”
The jury of the 2018 German Design Award, which recognized The Otto Grill for its intuitive operability and stylish look, expressed the following when awarding it the prize for Excellent Product Design: “The Otto Grill allows you to grill like a professional. The operation of the grill is extremely easy and self-explanatory. A solid device design that promises perfect grilling results."
It was an acknowledgment that filled Otto with pride. “From the beginning of development, we were focusing on the simple handling of The Otto Grill,” said the namesake of the family business and engineer behind the The Otto Grill. “Both burners can be adjusted separately and the height of the grill grate can be adjusted precisely using the lever. In addition, it only takes a few seconds to take off the top unit so you can easily clean the grill from the inside. We are especially pleased that the clever product design and the high-quality workmanship of the Over Fired Broiler are now honored by the German Design Award.”
