3-2-1 spareribs

Serving spareribs is an absolute BBQ staple. Unfortunately, people are scared by the imagination of its cooking method, and they stay with their evergreens. But don’t let you be fooled: cooking spareribs is time consuming, but not as complex as it seems. If you have enough spare time, try these 3-2-1 spareribs!

  1. Remove the silverskin from the back of the ribs. Then generously rub the pork rub all over them.

  1. Grill the meat

Build an indirect zone with the first burner on and the others off. Cook the spare ribs in the indirect zone at 265 °F for 3 hours.

  2. Then seal them in aluminum foil, together with butter, honey and sugar. Cook the aluminum foil packaged ribs for two hours at 250°F.

  3. Take the ribs off the grill, unwrap and brush with barbecue sauce. Place back on the grill and cook at 250°F for one hour.

  1. Serve and enjoy

Remove ribs from grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.
